The Limits

The Limits were one of the first garage/British Invasion influenced groups that formed in Allentown in late 1964. Group members were Beau Jones (bass, vocals), Rick Levy (guitar, vocals), Rook Jones (lead vocals, guitar), Jack Schaeffer (drums), Chris Jones (guitar) and Irwin Goldberg (organ, vocals). In 1966, Ned Earley of the Shillings replaced Jack on drums. Guitarist Rick Levy has gone on to perform with Herman's Hermits, Tommy Roe, Jay & the Techniques, Fredy Cannon and others.
